The William G. Anderson, D.O.Scholarship for Minority Students honors an outstanding minority medical student, entering their second, third or fourth year of studies at an accredited college/school of osteopathic medicine, who demonstrates both academic achievement and outstanding leadership qualities. For the purpose of this scholarship, a minority is defined as those of African American, Native American, Asian/Pacific, or of Hispanic ethnic origin. One scholarship of $5,000 will be presented to the recipient during the AOF Honors Ceremony at the AOA Annual Convention and Scientific Seminar.
