This Foundation provides grants of up to $5,000 directly to teachers and other educators to facilitate specific projects and the teacher’s work in the classroom, school, district, and community. The Education Foundation is most interested in projects that seek to improve student achievement through geographic literacy, use of new technologies, the understanding of diverse cultures and the promotion stewardship of natural and cultural resources.
