If your disability stops you from being able to keep a full time job or from being able to competitively look for a job, your state’s Office of Vocational Rehabilitation (OVR) can help. OVR can give you up to $6,000 each year for job training or education. You can use this grant money, which you do not have to repay, to cover any expenses related to your training or education, including tuition and fees, travel expenses, books, supplies, equipment (computers, motorized wheelchairs, etc.) , food allowances, tutoring fees, photocopies, and so on. Contact your state’s Office of Vocational Rehabilitation.
