The American Legion is an organization dedicated to supporting members of the military service and their families currently serving on active duty. Volunteers are available to shop for groceries, baby-sit, mow the lawn, fix motor vehicles and other household chores. Grants are available for shelter, food, clothing, medical and dental care.
