A Better Chance’s mission is to work with minority students from the 6th grade through 12th to open opportunity doors that otherwise would not be open without a helping hand. There are several programs that include helping students receive financial aid for attending private local schools, boarding schools, or summer programs to help prepare for college. A Better Chance does not give scholarships, they match students with schools and the schools may offer scholarships.
