Free Speech Therapy for Toddlers

You can have your child tested to see if any speech problems are developing and even get free speech therapy. The U.S.Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) assures that children in need receive special education beginning on their third birthday, and in some states, it starts at age two. The program is run through your local school district, so check with them, or your state Department of Education. Income Eligibility: Family of 4 – $29,500. This varies from county to county so you must check with your local office to determine eligibility.
