Have you always dreamed of being an archaeologist? If so, Passport in Time (PIT) is the volunteer program for you. PIT is a program of the USDA Forest Service. Volunteers can work on projects including archaeological excavation, rock art restoration, survey, archival research, historic structure restoration, gathering oral histories, or writing interpretive brochures to name a few.
