Grants to Communities to Help Small Business Incubators

The EDA provides funding for special projects to support long-term economic development in areas experiencing substantial economic distress. Such projects could include water and sewer system improvements, industrial access roads, industrial and business parks, port facilities, railroad sidings, distance learning facilities, skill training facilities, business incubator facilities, eco-industrial facilities and telecommunications infrastructure improvements needed for business retention and expansion.
