Grants to Telecommunications Companies to Provide Services to Schools

This program provides grants to telecommunications companies to provide facilities and equipment, educational and instructional programming, and necessary technical assistance to elementary and secondary schools. Priority is given to companies that provide services to schools in underserved areas, individuals excluded from careers in math and science due to discrimination or economic disadvantages, areas with scarce resources, and areas with limited access to courses in math, science, and foreign languages.
