The Indian Health Service provides healthcare services to over 1.5 million Native Americans and Alaskan Natives at a reduced charge. Services include hospital, medical and dental care, environment health and sanitation services, outpatient services, mobile clinics, public health nurses, and preventive care, including immunizations.
