If your Medicare B coverage began on or after January 1, 2005, Medicare will cover a one-time preventative physical exam within the first six months that you are on the plan. The exam will include a thorough review of your health, education and counseling. The exam may include: blood pressure check, Electrocardiogram, vision test, shots and any other test the doctor advises. You pay 20% of the Medicare-approved amount after you meet the yearly Part B deductibles.
