Homes are available for no money down, thanks to the help of Jordan Ministries? DPGift Program. A seller who has enrolled his or her home in the program (and agreed to repay to Jordan the amount of the gift plus a processing fee) can attract more eligible buyers by advertising the zero down payment benefit. The seller’s fee is $500 for gifts under $10,000 and $750 for any other amount. To be eligible to receive a DPGift of as much as $25,000, a homebuyer must first choose an enrolled home and then qualify for a mortgage plan that accepts charitable gifts to satisfy down payment requirements. To enroll, a buyer will complete a DPGift Application Form. Upon approval, he or she will receive an approval letter and Funds Reservation Certificate from DPGift via e-mail. The buyer should bring this form to a realtor or lender, who will assist in completing the gift transaction and the home purchase. Seller enrollment form, Gift Application and Gift reservation forms are available online to fax to DPGift. Gifts up to $25,000 enable no money down purchases. For gifts under $10,000, seller pays gift plus $500; for $1025,000 gifts, charge is gift amount plus $750.
